Mount and Blade Warband for Xbox one and PS4 Announced last week at Gamescom 2016!

     Last week, The Mount and Blade team visited Cologne to attend Gamescom 2016! the world's largest gaming event. While there, they showed off Bannerlord to press and players from around the world, and released a video demonstrating our Siege Defense Gameplay (below), This Gameplay is absolutely amazing and truly demonstrates how far advanced The Taleworlds team is in strategy combat game making compared to most of the game making community! 


     In addition to an amazing gameplay video of the new Bannerlord, Taleworlds have announced that Warband will be releasing on Xbox One and PS4, this September 16th. This marks Their first soiree into the world of consoles and they are very excited for Mount & Blade to be reaching a whole host of new players!

"To offer extra bit of Bannerlord information, for those eagerly anticipating our upcoming title, we appeared on GameStar's livestream at the event, to present some extended game play, which shows the campaign elements of a Siege and highlights the variety of choice presented to players in the game. The video features commentary from our CEO and Founder, Armagan Yavuz, who talks through diplomacy, the battles and more." Basically they are going to show you more of the game paly, and show more examples of choices you will have to make within the game!

This video was great and showed us all some more in depth features, but what the said next might be a little disappointing about the release date.... :(  in quotes below-

"Hopefully you enjoyed our videos and announcements from the event. We look forward to showing off more of Bannerlord in the future... although we haven't announced a release date just yet, we are working very hard on the game and can't wait to put it in the hands of the players!"  

     It is wonderful that they are spending so much time to make the game perfect, and that they continue to release more content as they create more to keep us players updated, but how much longer before the game is released? lol we may never know, but I know that some of you can at least look forward to the new Warband game coming to PS4 and Xbox one!

Siege Weapons in Bannerlord

News on new siege weapons that are going to be available in Bannerlord-
 Taleworlds has said the siege weapons shown in new footage are all fully controllable by players and AI, and their placement is controlled via a deployment screen. You can change orders of their placement and movement during battle, which is important if you’ve made a mistake about the terrain, which will be much more varied this time around.

 Strategy appears to play a huge roll in Mount&Blade 2 Bannerlord, more than ever before. No more just charging into battle. You will be forced to stratagize this time around. Castle and villages are now integrated and will be managed from the same menus. Players and AI alike will modify and expand their settlements, and players will need to make work assignments to pursue construction and production projects. These new updates explain the years of waiting for Bannerlord, and will prove worth while.

40 Minutes Gameplay on the new Bannerlord happening at PC Gamer Weekender

40 minutes of Mount&Blade 2 Bannerlord gameplay will be happening at 'PC Gamer Weekender' !

on February 19, 2016 Taleworlds Entertainment announced that in March, two of Taleworlds members will be Heading to London to take place in PC Gamer Weekender.

This is a new event and will be hosted by PC Gamer magazine. there will be a huge variety of games, sessions, tournaments and workshops to play, watch, and get involved with! Some of the awesomeness available is  Dark Souls III pre-release, play Total WAR: WARHAMMER over a month before its release,  Resident Evil spin-off Umbrella Corps, along with 50+ other playable games!

The Point of Taleworlds going to the event is that they will be demonstrating 40 minuets of gameplay of the new, and upcoming Bannerlord! Those 40 minuets will consist of unseen gameplay live on stage.
