Mount and Blade Bannerlord is one head itching game when it comes to an official release date, and a true gem among all strategy role playing games. The possibilities of relationships, good and bad deeds, and character development are endless -.- . But!!!! But is this game going to reallllyyyy be as big a success as it is worth??? This game has taken the creators an inmense amount of time to make it perfect! Like I am talking MULTIPLE times they pushed the game's release date back to increase the players expirience graphic, mechanical, and
story line wise. Taleworlds is taking no stops this time around with quality and making it glitch free. This is great! Wonderful! But is it recieving the praise it is worth? This game is a game for the pc players that like intense, in depth combat, and game control. This game is for the somewhat computer literate and knowledgeable audience. So basically us computer guys. What about the rest of the audience? The general public? This is a selective game just like the previous games, it will sell a lot like the others, but I don't see this all over the internet like say call of duty or assassins creed or for god sakes Pokemon go! Of course not, and I don't expect it to ve that big.
I would like to see it be like Sid Miers Civilitzation that went to IPhone app and PlayStation and everything else. Sid Miers Civilization was easy to control and lots of the general audience like that. Ok ok now I'm just being harsh.... This game is big of course but is it only big to us hardcore followers of the game? And can this game become the most popular pc game out there? Well lots of the rating sites are giving them fabulous scores of 4.8 out of 5 on kitguru they are at least. Along with high scores on all others, and it is hard not to rate it high, since it is an amazing game. The only problem is will the game pertain to a bigger audience than the hard core pc gamer? How many people truly know about the series?
I want to see this series get big! On PlayStation and Xbox! Make the game go viral instead of just the dedicated bunch of computer guys ( still damn good) but why not? Well we will see if they ever expand and take this amazing game to everyone the same way some of the really popular online games are today. Who knows, maybe even the less educated short attention span person will one day increase brain cells due to everyone around them playing a game that might require a bit of stratigic planning!
