Led by Napoleon Bonaparte, the French Empire in 1812 was the most powerful continental state in Europe. In Mount and Blade Napoleonic Wars you can take the side of this fancy talking world power and fight as a soldier and siege castles with fancy rants by constantly pressing the "C" button on your keyboard to shout out french.
In 1812 the French armies fought all across the continent - from the mountains of Portugal to the steppes of Russia. The French tricolour was already raised over Berlin, and Vienna has been captured - for the first time in the city’s history. All major European nations have already suffered defeats against Bonaparte’s Grande Armée, but the widely stretched French nation is now literally surrounded by the enemies. France will have to battle against the whole of Europe. Again...

However, to become the world’s dominant power, Britain first need to get rid of her most dangerous enemy- Imperial France. Britannia rules the oceans with war ships on a massive scale, but France still dominates the continent, something London refuses to tolerate.
