Mount and Blade 2 audio improvements

Taleworlds new game will consist of songs specially made for each faction in Bannerlord. The music was carefully researched on what type of music would be played during the 600 - 1200 ad times in order to give it a more authentic feel. Taleworlds Entertainment took no shortcuts this time around and have even went and got real instrument players of some strange instruments i never seen before! Whole Band mount and blade 2 Bannerlord
I can tell just how awesome the new soundtracks will sound by reading it on Taleworlds feed!

"For Sturgia, the Viking-style faction for example we chose strong, deep sounding Davul drums, Dulcimer and the Nyckelharpa. The track starts with an earthy and stoic Davul pattern before the Nyckelharpa kicks in to play the melody. The challenging thing was to give those rather small ethnic ensembles a touch of epicness to suit the needs of a faction hymn. To achieve this, we carefully portioned orchestral elements that blend well with the solo instruments. In the Sturgia theme we used Timpani to put more emphasize on the heavy bass as well as a deep string section that works well with the Nyckelharpa. But beside this majestic touch that was needed, we tried to never lose focus on that authentic sound make each faction theme so unique."

They sound very excited for us to hear the new soundtracks! To be honest I don't know what any of these instruments are but it does appear that its a medieval guitar, some "sack pipes" and a medieval piano! I would have to say i am going to enjoy the "deep sounding Davul drums" they mentioned earlier when I lead my army across the map to take over the whole Viking kingdom of Sturgia :D
